Back from the Dominican!
It was by far the best trip I've ever had.
Perfect weather,
Great people we went down with,
Resort was awesome,
Food was amazing,
The only thing that wasn't superb were the rooms and mostly just the bathrooms. They weren't as opulent as other resorts i've been too but they def got the job done so i'm happy.
So i'm sitting at work on Tuesday (the day after our new Ontario holiday, Family Day. Gayest holiday name EVER). I'm thinking about how I want to write this trip report. If i write it the way I normally write it will be close to 600 pages long. If i write it in short form alot will be lost in translation. I'll do it the normal way I think however i'll try to keep the useless details out.

Day 1 (Feb 8th 2008)
We Picked up our friends at 10:30am and we're on the road by 11am from London to Toronto's Pearson International Airport. I was driving because we borrowed our Inlaws minivan. After some drama that is back seat driving we found our parking lot and got to the Terminal. Checked in without incident and got some grub. Got on the plane and we were off after about an hour delay. 5:30pm. The flight there kind of sucked because as someone who is 6'4" planes just arn't made for people like me.
We touch down in Puerto Plata at about 10pm. By the time we get to our resort it's about 12am. We get checked into our room on the bus which was awesome so we didn't have to wait in the lobby when we got there. We went and grabbed some disgustingly over cooked hamburgs hotdogs and fries at the after hours food place by the bars. (I made a vow I wouldn't eat their again on the trip. I stuck to my guns, not everone else did).
BED!
Day 2 (Feb 9th 2008)
Me and a friend get up for our orientation and get the pertinent info as the wife, and the other couple wern't able to attend due to some lazyness and some time change issues that we forgot about ;).
Will continue post later this afternoon.
